The last few years have seen the “Wacky Wabbit” display at many venues across Europe. As an organisation, we love attending airshows and displaying our T6 Harvard either in the air or as a static display, or both! We can also offer the L4 “Grasshopper” Cub, The NA64 YALE and of course the Hawker Hurricane Mk1 V7497. 2020 has been a terrible year due to the COVID pandemic and has hit airshows all over the world, however, we remain positive and are looking forward to a bright 2021 and continue to take bookings in preparation. Andy has been busy displaying another Harvard Happy Hour in Turkey during September 2020. So please see below our current bookings and also other bookings that we have had in the past. Join us at Abingdon Airfield on Saturday 12 June 2021 for the twentieth Air and Country Show. From dynamic flying displays to arts and craft stalls the show has something for everybody. We have aerobatic displays from warbirds and biplanes to modern-day jets but there’s plenty to see on the ground too with static aircraft displays, cockpits to sit in, as well as a great mix of re-enactment stalls, classic cars and country fayre traditions and craftsmanship.
TURKEY – October 29th 2020 🇹🇷 – (Cancelled)
Yes, another display in Turkey however due to current rules and regulations on travel this is currently TBC I will update you of the location and timings if and when we get the authorisation to do this display. Unfortunately, this display did not go ahead due to Covid restrictions. Fortunately for me, this airshow was cancelled. On this very weekend, there was a huge earthquake in Izmir with much devastation. Unfortunately, the earthquake caused many casualties and our heart goes out to all those who have been affected in the area and wish you all the best of luck.
As you can see from the below Video the Airshow went ahead with full COVID risk assessments in place putting safety first as always. Andy displayed the T6 Harvard with a formation flight with the stunning 1947 Cessna 195 flown by the legendary warbird pilot Lee Proudfoot. Following the duo, Andy went into a 10-minute solo routine. The below footage is some of the highlights from the show.

We are excited to display at this airshow as it is spread out over 5 days. There are practice days panned and daily slots to display the T6 Harvard during the show. This year we will be displaying the “Wacky Wabbit. We shall be flying the Wabbit from the home base at Duxford over to just North of Amsterdam with a refuel at Hoogeeveen and then on to Berlin Schoenefeld airport.

The Hünsborn airfield community invites all flight enthusiasts, and those who want to become one, to the airfield festival in Hünsborn on June 20 and 21, 2020. Sightseeing flights, various flight demonstrations and much more are offered. The flight program is currently still being planned.
